April 10, 2013 7:30 p.m. Tapas Party: Mastering Summer Entertaining 'Tapas Party' is a new and practical approach to entertaining in which a casual selection of small and interesting Tapas-inspired dishes are given a delicious and refreshed new look. Lighter, slightly more modern and simple to prepare, this wonderful menu will impress guests and create a festive atmosphere which flows effortlessly from beginning to end. As you learn about and discover an entire menu plan with recipes, you will enjoy sample cocktails and an extensive 'tasting’ dinner that will be served throughout the evening. Pancetta-wrapped grilled shrimp, pumpkin seed turnovers, stuffed fresh figs and Manchego garlic bread toasts are among some of the delicious starters. And for the main event, a ‘risotto’ paella is featured in a spectacular presentation perfectly suited for casual summer entertaining.
October 24, 2012 Truffle Party: The Art of Fall Entertaining. From Truffle to Table After returning from the Truffle Festival in Alba, Italy, Mr. Kramer will share his recent culinary adventure with travel stories and recipes. Our 'Truffle Party' will be a new and practical approach to entertaining and cooking devoted entirely to the extraordinary black truffle. Given a classic but refreshed new look, truffles will be transformed into lighter, slightly more modern dishes than their classic French counterparts. From a Farm House Game Hen Pot Pie with a Black Truffle and Fried Sage Crust to an extraordinary frozen Tartuffo dessert, the joy of cooking with truffles will be explored. As you learn about and discover an entire menu plan with recipes, you will enjoy sample cocktails and an extensive 'tasting’ dinner that will be served throughout the evening. A wonderful truffle gift bag will be given to each guest provided by the great truffle importer Sabatino Tartufi of Rome.
